The idea is to present some issues I have faced in finance accounting area and solutions how I have solved the issues. Most of the cases are originally from production but I have changed the details so that original process and data are not disclosed.

Topics I am covering in the blog are normal Excel functions and how to use them in finance context. Macros and VBA sometimes make things go faster, therefore I am presenting my VBA solutions. Business intelligence, like Power Query and Power Pivot, is a part of Excel for reporting especially larger amounts of data. Power BI is included also as Power BI is pretty close to Excel. Also I have some blogs are about Access or Tableau. Access can be found in several laptops, still it is not used very often, according to my experience.

During the past years I have studied some books and visited several related webpages, therefore it is possible to find same kind of solutions in other webpages or Excel/Power BI books, too.

All the solutions are free to be reused. Hopefully, this page might bring some light on your Excel or Power BI issues.
